Light Up the Darkness

Light up the Darkness have been instrumental in raising the profile of mental health issues in the lower Clarence Valley and driving real changes locally to improve the outcomes for people experiencing mental health issues. 

The Light Up the Darkness Committee advocates for increased mental health services in the Lower Clarence area. Their aim is to promote existing services, facilitate community education about mental wellbeing, and facilitate community consultation on mental health services.

The committee continues, with the support of the community, to meet with mental health practitioners to work together to close the gap on the services offered in the Lower Clarence.
