Carer Gateway

Carer Gateway provides support services to carers in your area and across Australia.

Services are free for anyone who provides care and support to a family member or friend who is living with a disability, mental illness, alcohol or drug dependency, a chronic condition, or who is frail due to age.

Services and supports include:
•    Carer support planning
•    Counselling
•    Peer support
•    Carer directed support packages
•    Planned and emergency respite.

Carers NSW is the dedicated Carer Gateway Service Provider across the Hunter New England, Central Coast and North Coast of NSW.

Carers NSW is working closely with our partners and local community organisations across the region to deliver local and tailored support to improve carers’ wellbeing.
