Clarence Valley Conservation in Action (Landcare) has two distinct operational units - Cane Toad Education & Control and Indian (Common) Myna Education & Control.
Laura & Kevin Noble manage the Indian Myna control side and can be contacted by email on mynas@cvcia.com.au or phone 0456 472 177. Generally this involves private landowners using a specially designed non lethal cage traps to attract and trap Mynas on their property. Traps are loaned out at no charge.
The Cane Toad group is coordinated by Kelly McRae and she can be contacted by email on toads@cvcia.com.au or phone 0432 527 169. Toad control is a manual task generally undertaken by a group of volunteers on private or public lands at night (mostly on a Friday) during the warmer months (October-May).
General CVCIA enquireies can be directed to Kevin, email kevin@cvcia.com.au
Both groups need further assistance from volunteers with their projects.
