Raymond Laurie Sports Centre

The sports centre was named after Lower Clarence sporting legend Raymond Laurie and built on land belonging to the Yaegl Aboriginal people.

The Raymond Laurie Sports Centre (RLSC) is a multi-purpose facility used to host community events, sporting competitions, Coastal Clarence Gymnastics and houses Fluid Physio and Gym (02 6646 3766). It was opened in 2009 and as the years have progressed has become well embedded in the Lower Clarence, Clarence Valley and North Coast sporting scene.

The RLSC has hosted the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) program, NSW State League Netball matches, the Midnight Sports Tournament, Yamba Prawn Bowl basketball tournament, Coastal Clarence Gymnastics as well as many other local activities and programs.

Centre manager Steven Smith is always willing to sit down and chat about any ideas you may have towards utilising the centre, may it be using the main courts, multi function meeting room or our first class dance room.
