Westpac Rescue Helicopter Op Shop

An Op Shop with a source of affordable essentials as well as a safe place where please can drop in and connect with the local community. All funds contribute significantly to the fundraising revenue of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service which is vital to keeping us flying for our community.

People in our community volunteer for many different reasons, for some working with the Service can facilitate a return to paid employment or a valuable source of self-esteem, connection and friendship.

For our customers, Op Shops are not just a place to source affordable essentials but they are also a safe place where people can drop in and connect within the local community.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter operates 6 Opportunity Shops across the Northern NSW region including: South Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Ballina, Yamba, Casino and Tenterfield.

This network contributes significantly to the fundraising revenue of the Service which is vital to keeping us flying for our community.

Our Volunteer led Op Shops help to minimise reliance on fast fashion, reduce the volume of clothing going to landfill and further support the ethical production of clothing.
